The ProTec Sidemount Full Cave certification course offers the same training and knowledge for cave diving as the Full Cave program, but all with a sidemount configuration on a higher level.

With a sidemount, you will approach swimming through constricted openings much more easily.

The ProTec Sidemount Intro Cave certification course offers you the same basic knowledge for cave diving as the ProTec Intro Cave program, but all is done with a sidemount configuration. This training will show you the benefits of the sidemount configuration and open the possibility to move through smaller cave passages.

• ProTec Cavern Diver, ProTec Nitrox, ProTec Sidemount Tec certificates or equivalents

 

The ProTec Sidemount Tec is a technical diving special course for those technical divers who want to explore the benefits of sidemount diving. The students will learn how to safely use their sidemount equipment so that they can overcome problematic situations with the right solutions. A usage of at least three scuba cylinders is expected. You will be informed about advantages of sidemount configuration and be more flexible in confined water, for instance during Cave or Wreck diving.

• Good diving skills (theoretical and practical), which have to be proven to the instructor
• ProTec 2** Diver certificate or equivalent
• Skills and certification to dive to 40 meters deep

The ProTec Technical Wreck certification course is the basis for serious technical wreck diving. The ProTec fulfils a demand of serious wreck divers, providing the right program for technical diving into large shipwrecks.

The main features that you will learn about are wreck analyses, risk estimations, dive planning, custom Rig (equipment) assembling and mounting, redundant stuff – as much as needed – as less a possible, handling of spare decompression tanks, usage of reels, lift bags, as well as techniques used for inside wreck dives (hand, fins & buoyancy), silt out management, obstructions, emergency plans and procedures.

• Medical statement
• ProTec Intro Technical Wreck certificate or equivalent
• More than 12 (serious) wreck dives
