BASIC SCUBA

Basic Scuba is a preliminary stage, a basic course that rapidly offers you the chance to the first diving experiences in shallow water.

Basic Scuba Diver is a certification course designed for non-divers, who want to try diving with diving equipment within a limited period of time.

During this program, you will have the possibility to learn the essentials of scuba diving. Moreover, you will try it right away. This is the preliminary stage. In other words, a basic course that will rapidly offer you the chance to get a first diving experience.

The Basic Scuba program like a Resort Diver, concentrates only on the main skills for a dive in a special well-known environment (resort), within a very short time. Usually this applies to typical holiday dive education, where courses have to be shortened up due to limited time or budget.

With the Basic Scuba Diver certificate, you will be allowed to dive to a max. 12m, guided by an experienced diver like a Dive Master (or higher level).

Minimum age is 14 years old
Good physical condition as well as appropriate swimming experience.

ProTec Intro Scuba

The ProTec Intro Scuba is a pre-stage for basic scuba diving.

This introduction to Scuba diving is part of the ProTec “Discover Scuba Diving” (DSD) program. Intro Scuba is based on the requirements of ISO 11121.
It is not a scuba course, but a trial diving lesson which allows a non-diver to touch another unknown world under the water using a piece of Scuba equipment. You will feel what it is like to breathe under the water and how pleasant and interesting it is. You will see the underwater world from the inside, feel yourself in weightlessness, and wonder how the time changes in these moments.

Minimum age is 12 years

The ProTec 1* Diver (as well as the ProTec OWD) is a certification course for the first serious step into underwater diving as an autonomous diver.

This is the foundation of every diver that underlines the pyramid of diving knowledge. The students will learn the basic theoretical and practical skills of safety and engrossing of diving.

Have you already experienced any of ProTec trial programs (Intro Scuba or Scuba Basics)? Or have you always dreamed of scuba diving? During this program, you will learn the basics of scuba diving as well as gain the opportunity to explore the beauty of marine life.
